The 2010 Audi Audi A3 TDI offers 140-hp with a maximum torque of 236 lb-ft mated to a S tronic transmission and a front-wheel-drive system. EPA-estimated fuel-economy comes in at at 30/42 mpg (city/highway). “The Lexus HS 250h offers similar combined fuel economy with hybrid technology, but not superlative highway mileage range,” says Audi.
